Greetings!

I'm Daniel, and I'm thrilled you've found yourself exploring my site. At this point, you might have gathered that my passion lies in creativity. It seems to express itself in everything I do, both professionally and personally. Over the past decade, I've enjoyed the opportunity to work for some extremely unique organizations, including the Hattiesburg Convention Commission, Houston Grand Opera, and Opera in the Heights. As I grew in my career, I realized another passion—fostering talent and leading teams. In 2017, I decided to build on that passion and enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Houston-Downtown with an emphasis in leadership.

In December of 2019, I walked across the stage at Minute Maid Stadium and accepted my diploma. Less than a month later, I was on a plane bound for Taipei, Taiwan, and then Seoul, South Korea, to complete the final phase of my degree, a study abroad program. When I returned to the states later that month, I was full of optimism, hope, and excitement for the future; then, in what felt like the blink of an eye, the world shut down.

While 2020 was the darkest year in memory for most, I held on to that hope of a better future. I am thankful and feel so very fortunate to have maintained my health and safety as well as the health and safety of those I love. I believe the shadow of this past year is finally beginning to break. With that, I'm excitedly pursuing the light at the end of the tunnel with a rejuvenated ambition.

Below, you'll find an abbreviated list of my professional experience. For a more detailed description, please download my resume by clicking the link below.

Best,
